Name

Pandaimon /pan-dai-mon/

pan = alldaimon = guiding genius

All · our geniuses.

Pandaimon ensures the people whose knowledge trains AI models are paid for it. Every member gets personal AI support from daimons that help advance their work and goals, earning value back three ways: other members using their daimons, AI labs buying verified data, and growing ownership of the network itself.

A note from the founder

I have dedicated my career to a lifelong dream: building systems where people can do well by doing good by each other. At Pi Network, I helped scale a token-economy network to over 50 million users, proof that the demand exists. Pi lacked a concrete economic model and a legal pathway. Knomad began to name the model. With AI capable enough, crypto rails mature, legislation advancing, and culture ready, Pandaimon brings the pieces together. The vision is ambitious. I’m looking for expert guides to help build it.

§A · The Problem

It took millennia for humanity to produce the corpus that trained AI models like ChatGPT and Claude. It took just a decade for leading AI labs to scrape it, build trillion-dollar companies on it, and gate the upside to accredited investors. Now these models, trained on our collective knowledge, threaten to displace the very people who trained them. It started with simpler functions: the draft, the memo, the summary. With the rise of AI agents, they threaten whole roles. But these threats did not start with AI. They started with an economic system that was already leaving modern workers behind.

AI’s threat is one symptom of a system that was already failing the workers who built it. Intermediaries amass billions in wealth creation but pass virtually nothing to their customers, the everyday people on the ground. The mechanism is structural: meaningful tech now stays private far longer and is worth far more before retail can participate. Microsoft IPO’d at $777 million in 1986; NVIDIA at $626 million in 1999. Retail captured the climbs that followed. Now OpenAI and Anthropic are eyeing trillion-dollar valuations before retail gets a seat. The system rewards extraction over creation. But the same forces, met right, enable a different game: one that dissolves the old tradeoff between individual freedom and collective coordination.

§B · The Synthesis

Pandaimon is an experiment in a different socioeconomic game: cooperatism. For two centuries, capitalism and socialism have been locked in a tug of war. Capitalism prizes individual freedom but concentrates wealth in fewer hands. Socialism prizes collective coordination but suppresses individual sovereignty. AI and crypto, applied right, can dissolve the tradeoff.

AI lets one person deploy what used to require a whole company: research, drafting, analysis, execution. Crypto lets sovereign individuals coordinate without a central operator; network participation becomes network ownership. Each technology crosses both halves: AI agents serving individuals produce collective intelligence; tokens rewarding individuals coordinate collective outcomes. Cooperatism is the synthesis, not the compromise.

§C · Why Now

The conditions converge for the first time, and they do not stay this way long.

AI. The leverage window for modern workers is open for the first time and closing fast. AI has crossed the coding hill, where vast repositories of verified data made the climb possible. The new bottleneck is specialized knowledge applied in non-coding domains, exactly the work humans uniquely hold. Labs are paying 3-100x compute cost for outcome-verified human work; Anthropic budgeted over $1B for RL data this year. This is humanity’s last stand on the data that trains the models. Once that knowledge gets scraped, automated, absorbed, leverage flips: experts become the customer, not the supplier.

Crypto. The rails are mature for the first time. Self-custody, programmable tokens, and on-chain governance are all production-grade. Digital-commodity legislation (the CLARITY Act) is advancing through Congress, creating clearer rules for cooperative capital structures. Network use can finally become network ownership.

Culture. The market for independent, sovereign work has been growing for over a decade. The creator economy, the freelance economy, the solo-preneur movement are now mainstream rather than fringe. AI is accelerating the shift: workers repriced by the wave, intermediaries amassing billions while wages stagnate, AI backlash going mainstream. The audience for a different game is larger than it has ever been.

§D · The Game

Pandaimon is a new socioeconomic game that fuses the best of capitalist markets and socialist coordination. We honor individual sovereignty by grounding the game in the hero’s journey, the oldest design pattern of human life, tested across millennia. Each player is on their own quest of becoming. We honor collective coordination by rewarding individuals for their contributions to the collective. Network use becomes network ownership. Two kinds of actors carry every quest: the hero, and their daimons, a new category of AI agents bonded to them.

The daimons serve the hero’s journey by knowing them, remembering everything, and helping them advance. This is not a service; it’s a relationship. Unlike general-purpose AI, the daimons are bonded to one hero, identity-bearing, tuned to their voice, values, and quest. Over time they learn what they’re trying to become and what stands in the way. Every quest builds the hero and trains the network.

Each quest unfolds as a series of moves the hero and daimons make together. Every move carries two signals: delta (did the world change?) and XP (did the system get stronger?). The signals are multi-dimensional (economic, social, relational), so the network learns to reward more than dollars. Across many heroes, every move trains the fleet: a planet-scale reinforcement learning gym, owned by its members.

§E · Architecture

AI’s next frontier is not just bigger models but better environments. Andrej Karpathy named it in early 2026: “the highest-leverage thing is constructing a high diversity of RL environments, a gym of sorts.” Coding had its environments (compile, test, benchmark). Non-coding (marketing, legal, medical, education, finance) does not. Building them requires real experts pursuing verifiable outcomes. Pandaimon is that gym, in three layers.

Instance. An instance is one hero and one or more daimons, with the full context and memory of the partnership under the hero’s own custody. An instance can scale to a team of daimons serving one hero; Pandaimon itself runs this way. The hero owns the data and controls what’s shared. As quests play out, the instance produces two artifacts as natural exhaust: a wiki of what the hero knows, and a stream of rollouts of what they did with verifiable outcomes. Together they form the atomic unit of the gym, and the lab-ready expert package for non-coding domains.

Fleet. Instances connect into a fleet: thousands of heroes pursuing real quests in real domains. The fleet is where the work happens, not in a lab. It produces a live, queryable commons of outcome-verified wikis and rollouts from every quest, aggregated and continuously updating. The freshness moat is structural: a snapshot is already stale. The fleet is owned by its members, not its operator.

PathSeek. The organizing layer that runs across the commons, finding the lowest-cost path from intent to verified outcome. Crowdsourced from every hero’s traces, the organizing intelligence compounds with each move made.

§F · The Economy

Pandaimon earns fiat revenue across three lanes:

On the brokerage lane, Pandaimon stands as fiduciary to its contributing members: a data broker, structurally inverted. Contributors are co-owners, consent is explicit, and value flows back to the people who produced the data.

The fiat lanes fund operations; the token economy structures ownership. PAN is the network’s native unit, earned by contribution and conferring membership. Heroes earn PAN three ways:

Holding PAN gives a voice in governance and a share of the collective. Network use becomes network ownership.

Pandaimon’s plan does not depend on pending legislation. Incorporate as a traditional C corp, build the business on the fiat lanes, and progressively decentralize governance and ownership over time. The CLARITY Act, advancing through Congress, would sharpen this pathway by defining tokens that are not securities and the route from centralized startup to decentralized maturity. With or without CLARITY, the C corp foundation is buildable today. The cooperatism is structural, not aspirational.

§G · The Call

Pandaimon is not a proposal. The game is already being played: heroes paired with daimons, instances producing wikis and traces, the C corp incorporated, the cooperatism built structurally rather than aspirationally. This brief is the invitation.

If you recognize the game, there are paths in. Critique the architecture. Sharpen the mechanisms. Fund the build. Join the network.
